Cocktails for the Sunny Season

Fun and easy to make cocktails for the Spring/Summer season.

Aaaahh! The season of day drinking and day parties is upon us. If entertaining friends at your place this Spring/Summer is a part of your plan and plain ol’ vodka sodas no longer entice you but you’re no mixologist–there’s no need to fret. The thing is, a lot of cocktails have complicated ingredients, while most of us (speaking from my point of view anyway) want something strong, simple to make but feminine so we can post selfies with while lounging around. I’ve read your minds and compiled a list of five current yet tasty cocktails that’s not only easy to make, but there’s one for every type of alcoholic beverage lover.

Raspberry Lemon & Lime Ginger Beer Cocktail

Starting off the list is for all you fancy pants, bubbly lovers. This tangy and  dainty paritng is perfect for Sunday brunches or a cute aclohol accessory for girl chat and photos!

Deja’s Grand Moon

Blue Moon Beer Cocktail

Wait… you thought I wouldn’t have one of my favorite drinks on this list?… ha! Blue Moon is the only beer that I enjoy; the taste is mellow and doesn’t leave me feeling bloated like most beers do. The addition of a cognac shot takes it up a notch. I may or may not have created this drink, but since I’ve introduced so many people to this match-up, it only seems fair that I call it my own (smooth exit).

Ingredients

  • 1 Glass of ice cold Blue Moon beer (or Shock Top)
  • Grand Marnier
  • Orange peel

Directions

  • Pour beer slowly at an angle into a tall glass, add 1 shot of Grand Marnier and garnish with orange peel.

Thank me later…
